No more kiss scenes in Thailand and Japan

Updated: May 23, 2020

According to reports, affected by the epidemic in Thailand, in order to prevent the further spread of the Covid19, the Thai Ministry of Culture prohibits the shooting of any fights, kisses, and close touches that involve intimate contact. Special effects can be used if necessary.

At the same time, the Ministry of Culture of Thailand also suggested that the film crew must work in a well-ventilated space, and the site staff should not exceed 50 people. All workers outside the lens must wear masks and maintain a distance of at least 1 to 2 meters.

In early April, the Japanese media reported similar news, mentioning that the film and TV drama shooting that had been suspended (in early April) will have to avoid scenes of kissing, hugging, and intimacy when they will resume shooting.
